SMS Notification Consent

Who receives SMS messages

SMS notifications are sent exclusively to the business owner / administrator of Rooted Method Studio. These are internal operational alerts — they are not sent to customers.

How opt-in consent is collected

The business owner navigates to the Admin Settings → SMS Notifications section of the Rooted Method Studio admin panel. They manually enter their own phone number and check the following consent checkbox before saving:

"I consent to receive SMS booking notification alerts at this number from Rooted Method Studio. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out."

The number is only saved after the checkbox is explicitly checked and the form is submitted. This constitutes a deliberate web-form opt-in.

Message type and frequency

Messages are transactional booking alerts triggered when a new appointment is submitted through the website's online booking form. Message frequency depends on the number of bookings received.

Sample message:

New booking #RMS-123 | Total: $85. Login to admin panel to view.

How to opt out

Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. You can also remove your number at any time from the Admin Settings panel. Message and data rates may apply.
